“FSU London Ladies”: Tiffany Carvalho

Presenting our FSU London Lady of the week, Tiffany Carvalho!

Since the FSU London Ladies Series went over so well, we expanded to FSU London Lads as well. Florida State University has an amazing international program, and according to their site, “Florida State is among the nation’s elite for study abroad totals.” The London program in particular has much to offer, and the students that make up the program are intelligent, unique, and driven. So it’s my pleasure to feature these lovely FSU London lads!

Tiffany was a part of the specialized theatre program the FSU London Study Centre has to offer. She is a Pennsylvania State University who studied through FSU’s programs.

“I’ve been to twenty countries, which is cool because I’m twenty years old. I’m a BA Theatre Major at PSU. I love to dance.I’ve trained in dance for about 13 years, in all forms and styles except for tap. I have no idea how to tap.

“I actually can sing and have a nice voice but I’m terrified of doing it in front of people. I won’t even sing in the shower because I don’t want someone to hear me. I’m also great at making stir fry. I love talking to new people and trying something new always. I like watching Al-Jazeera and drinking coffee in the morning. Although I also enjoy watching the BBC and drinking tea.

“I’ve had three hamsters at different times and they’ve all been named Pinky. But they all died before I could get another one to name him Brain. I still can’t tie my shoes right. I never properly learned so I do bunny ears.

“Me, my mom, and my brother all have an age difference of 20 years between the three of us, hence the 20 tattoo on my arm, though I got the tattoo when I was nineteen, not twenty. BUT I did coincidentally get it on August 20th…

“I want to see as much of the world as I possibly can before I die. But mostly I want to be remembered for doing something great – whether it be as a contribution to the arts or just in general for having lived a really dope and interesting life.”

Q: What is your favorite color?

TC: I can never quite decide. I would say white because it’s a combination of all colors, but every time I wear white I get a stain on my clothes so I’ll go with black. It’s always a safe bet. Purple is nice too.

Q: Do you have a favorite number?

TC: It was always 27. I had it as my jersey number throughout high school for all my teams when I played sports.

Q: What’s your favorite food and why?

TC: A smoothie fused together with all foods, except seafood. Because I just love all foods that much. (But my mom’s chicken fricassee is pretty bomb.)

Q: Would you rather have an elephant’s trunk or a giraffe’s neck?

TC: As appealing as height may be for a short person like me, I’d much rather have an elephant’s trunk. It’s the coolest eating utensil and a portable showerhead all in one.

Q: What’s your favorite article of clothing and why?

TC: My Cherry Red Doc Marten boots. They’ve been through a lot with me and they’ve never failed me once.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

TC: Actress, espresso connoisseur, and ghostwriter for all the illest rappers in the game.

Q: Would you rather be forced to tell a lie to your best friend or a truth to your parents?

TC: Tell a truth to my parents. I’m a terrible liar and I would give myself away anyway.

Q: Who is your role model?

TC: All the women in my family, but most importantly my mother. She’s the strongest person I know.

Q: Would you rather have sex with Megan Fox with a penis or Tom Hiddleston with a vagina?

TC: Tom Hiddleston with a vagina. I’ll take anything over Megan Fox any day.

Q: Who is your celebrity crush?

TC: 50 Cent. And John Malkovich.

Q: What’s your favorite place in the world?

TC: Every new place I visit becomes my new favorite place in the world. But there’s no place like home.

Q: Would you rather love and not be loved back, or be loved and never love?

TC: I’d rather love and not be loved back. Reciprocated or not, there’s something special about giving love that keeps you grounded and feeling alive as opposed to never loving. It builds character.
