Cons: Boring lectures, for the most part
He is a very intellectual man, so that makes the material a little more interesting.
Cons: If you do not read the book before the exams, you will not pass. It is heavy reading.
I love this class and Professor Leone. He has a very dry sense of humor, but it's great.
The workload is very straight forward: a set of readings due before each midterm. Each midterm contains 4-5 essays and we write 3.
Cons: entire grade based off of 3 exams
not a good course to take if you're not a good test taker
Cons: Teaches using questions
Side stories can be confusing
Test are all Essay and little time
Cons: N/A
I love my professor
Cons: broad concepts
Cons: the class is all essays and very detail oriented, so know your facts. And he can get a bit boring sometimes, though I'm a science major, so humanities to me are pretty boring anyway.
Cons: Essay tests (they are graded harshly)
Have to read two books for final, not fun
interesting class but I feel Leone and his TAs could grade a bit more fair.
Cons: Terribly boring
Bring Caffeine
Cons: Dry at times
All exams are essay exams. Definitely need to pay attention in lecture to do well
